Now it's the men's turn
I took part in the Glasgow women's 10km run yesterday. Over 12,000 women took part in the run, it was great fun and there was an incredible atmosphere. People lined the streets of the south side to cheer the runners on, and handed out jelly babies and cups of water to us. Obviously the best thing about completing the 10km, after the atmosphere and sense of achievement, is always the free tunnocks caramel wafer in your goodie bag.
For those blokes out there, who feel they missed out on a great day. There is a men's 10km at Bellahouston park, on the 18th of June 2007. There were 2500 runners last year, and this year they are aiming for over 5000 runners. So if your interested click on the link below
