Strathbungo Society has an excellent wee website giving a brief history of the area and the work that they do to keep, the happy, leafy wee conservation area just off from Queens Park in tip top condition. There appears to be a really strong community feeling within the area which manifests itself in the various events that they arrange throughout the year - especially the "Bungo in the back lanes" event we posted about previously.

The site also has a store of useful contact details and information on the G41 area - including a list of shops, transport links and various trade contacts for the Southside area.
