Opening night of the Govan Festival
Just a quick reminder that the International Govan Festival opens this evening. There are two events on: a show by Circo Modo and the opening night Ceilidh, both are being held at the Pierce Institute. I am not sure whether you can buy tickets at the door, but I am assuming you can, otherwise call the number at the bottom of this post.
If you ever wanted to run away and join the circus, the Circo Modo show is for you. It 's on at the Pierce Institute, tonight, and starts at 6pm. Phone 0141 419 0329 to book tickets

Hiya!!
These are Sonia & Miriam Albert-Sobrino from Spain. We lived one year (from 2005 - 2006) at Tantallon Road in Shawlands, while we were working at the Southern General Hospital (Satff nurses at the recovery room). We are now back to Spain and we really miss Glasgow. We'd like to come back eventually but meanwhile we will keep visiting your blog. Thanks a lot for making us remember our beloved Glasgow.
Yikes, really excited about the govan festival but cannot attend tonight - do keep us informed as to whether or not you enjoy it. Always value your input :)
