This Weekend 12 -14 February
Not to tempt fate, but spring is in the air, the sun is out, days are getting longer and it's almost the weekend.
Tomorrow is the day for a wandering stroll around the Southside, stopping for coffee and cake, brunch or lunch. Maybe a bit of retro/vintage shopping, try out Raw Vintage in Abbot street and the Dressers Room on Skirving Street then maybe stroll down to Lady Drawers on Nithsdale Rd, which is due to open tomorrow.
If you've not seen the two main exhibitions @ the Tramway - Accidental Collages and Make it New John, then stop in and have a look.
You could also visit the church of Blessed St John Duns Scotus in the Gorbals, where some of St Valentine's bones are kept. It's decorated annually to celebrate Valentine's day.
Back Beat is on at the Citizens - not to be missed if you are a Beatles fan and Sam Cartman's paintings are still on display at the House for an Art Lover.
Leave a comment below if you know of any other Southside events or of suggestions of things to do.
