Seawards the Great Ships

One of the many films being shown as part of the Southside Film Festival  is the 1960's film 'SEAWARDS THE GREAT SHIPS' directed by Hilary Harris. This Oscar-winning documentary of shipbuilding on the Clyde, has wonderful scenes of the mould lofts and drawing offices of the shipyards along with footage dipicting the process of how these amazing ships were constructed, launched and fitted out before they left the Clyde.
Seawards the Great Ships is being shown at  the Model Ship Shed in Queens Park - Saturday 14 May, 14:00-16:00 (donations only)
