The Glad Cafe at Streetland

The Glad Cafe will be at Streetland Festival again this year, but this time their event will be a little bit different. Their last two Streetlands events have been showcasing the local talent of Govanhill at the Pandora Bar. However this year, they have a varied line up highlighting the vast musical talent from different cultures based in the area from Scots/Irish traditional to Zimbabwean mbira playing to Roma music all condensed into an hour. The event is completely free and will take place in Westmoreland Street Gardens on Friday the 4th May at 6.30.
