Ten days in Summer - Queens Park Railway Club

Just spotted this series of event happening at Queens Park Railway Club this summer. Queens Park Railway Club is an artist run space located on the platform of Queens Park Railway Station which I think was first set up to show work as part of the Glasgow International. The website shows that they are now planning a continuous programme of events so we will get in touch with the organisers Patrick Jameson and Leanne Hopper to find out more.
This summer show has invited four artists (Urara Tsuchiya, Douglas Laing, Alec Makenzie, Cheryl Field) to each host a show there for ten days. It started on 4 August so the first persons series of work "Special Summer Club 2012" finishes tomorrow but the series runs until 12 September so plently of time to check it out. Below is the programme for this series. One thing to note, the first person's work is noted as Over 18 only, so watc

An exhibition on a railway station, sounds fun and a good way to spend such a sunny day as today. (Then maybe a spot of bowls in Queens Park?)

Always amazed at the changes kin Glasgow over the past 30 years. Effects of its being European City of Culture are still being felt I think.
