Pecha Kucha - Current Affairs

The Pecha Kucha series of events hosted by the Tramway in 2010, showcased a whole host of Artists, designers, performers and writers. We didn't make it to all the events, you have to be fast as tickets sell out quickly, but the events we went to were really interesting and a good mix of people, experience and disciplines.
If you've never been along before, Pecha Kucha is a format where speakers take the floor for just over six minutes, presenting twenty slides for twenty seconds each. Our next event will be bigger than ever, representing the broad range of creative thinkers based in Glasgow and taking place in our main theatre.
Thankfully the Tramway have a new series of Pecha Kucha nights scheduled for 2011 and the first of these takes place on the 29 January. As you would expect there is a wide range of creative thinkers at the event, ranging from environmental artist Ross Sinclair to Scottish dance artist Rosalind Masson, and actor Tam Dean Burn.
Due to the popularity of the previous events, this Pecha Kucha will be held in Tramway one which has a bigger capacity - so more chance of getting tickets
