It's the first weekend of spring,
On Saturday morning from 10.30am till 1pm Strathbungo are holding their annual Spring Fling.
At 12 oclock the fantastic Govanhill Swimmers are holding a Swimming Gala in the Govanhill Baths.
Beanscene on Skirving Street are hosting a craft fair 12:30pm to 16:30pm

This Saturday the Glad Cafe presents World Music at the Victoria Hall, in Govanhill. 7-9pm There will be Scottish and Irish music with Karina Smillie, Danny Boyle and friends, Zimbabwean music and poetry with Tawona and Ernest Sithole and The Persian Dust Band with Farhad Mohammadi and Naser Maulavi. Tickets are £7
The Go Slow Cafe are hosting Listen in, Lights out. An evening of music and song at the Go Slow Cafe featuring: Ceylan Hay, Flora and Robin, George Thomas, Kirstie Penman, Patrick & Paul. Tickets are £4 and can be bought from the Go Slow Cafe. Free tree with every ticket. All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards community gardening projects in the Govanhill area.
