Babu Street Kitchen
Anyone tried the tasty sounding Babu Kitchen lunch delivery? We've had some of their tasty treats at the Queens Park but not yet given their Tiffen (Multi layered Indian Lunch boxes) service a go.
We were in India not so long ago and spotted quite a few delivery bikes zooming about laden with lunch boxes for busy office workers and Babu brought the idea to the Southside at the end of last year. Each week they run a delivery service from a changing set menu on a Tuesday and a Friday for just £4. You place your order the day before and they will arrive between 10am and 1pm with your order in a microwavable box ready for reheating and munching. For the past couple of months we've been getting their weekly update emails listing what the meal of the week is. Really like the bold colours of their menu's very cool and really remind me of the graphics we saw when we travelled India.
I think this week may well have to be the time we give it a go as the sound of Chicken Xacuti, Spiced Savoy Cabbage and Fragrant Basmati Rice sound yum.
