Streetland Meetland

Last night we went along to the Streetland Meetland event, at the Chalet in Govanhill. It's always a treat to get inside the Chalet building it's such an interesting place. If you've never been make sure you get along to the Streetland festival. Anyway there was a great selection of local DJ'S and Bands playing throughout the night and the Streetland Meetland Quiz.

The quiz masters Neil and Tom hosted a pretty difficult quiz, we were thankful the very lovely Bill and Mary Anne were in our team. Overall we came third and won an assorted music cd from 1995 and a half dozen sausages. We have to confess to getting the question relating to Southside Happenings wrong!

We had a great time and if last nights anything to go by then this years Streetland event is going to be fantastic, so make sure you keep the 29/30th April free.
